I am looking for information about a Barford family. JAMES INSON was born 1827, and died 1867. He married Ann (unknown last name - born 1824 Fenny Compton). They had children Sarah, Jane, Fanny, John, Ellen, William, George and Anne. I can find no trace of any of this family after the 1871 census. Can anyone help?

I believe my ancestor John Fret(t)well and his wife Mary are buried in St. Peter’s Churchyard, Barford. The MI fiche doesn’t list them on the main mapped area but they are shown separately. Can anyone explain where they may have been buried? Is there any type of marker? I’m hoping to visit later this year. Thanks.

HYATT family 1880 - 1900
Some of my Hyatt family lived in Barford in the late 1880s until 1904 when they moved to Burton on Trent.
Frank Hyatt, who had been born in nearby Ettington in 1864, lived at Rhyll Cottage, Barford in 1891.
Frank has his own business as a baker. Is Rhyll Cottage still there, and if so, does it show on any of the excellent photographs on your site?

My great-great-grandfather was William Mills born 1826, son of Isaac Mills, and brother of Mariann Mills who married Joseph Arch in 1847 in Barford. I have been researching the Mills ancestry and have further information on the names Mills, Biddle and Dadley that I’d be happy to share.
I’d also be interested in hearing from anyone else who has carried out research on these families who lived mostly in the surrounding area of Barford particularly the villages of Wasperton, Wellesbourne, Bishop’s Tachbrook and Loxley.

My interest is to find information on John Neale baptised on 11/8/1699 in Harbury married Mary Quinney from Ladbrooke they married in 1729 there son Henry Neale baptised 7/6/1730 Harbury married Elizabeth Zouch baptised 31/8/1735 Barford they married on 13/10/1757 in parrish churc of Barford in the presence of Thomas Sabin & John Fairfax. The rector was John Mills.
