I am trying to find a “Mary” from Barford who was married to George Pinfold from Bloxham at some time in the 1860s. They had Sarah Elizabeth Pinfold b 29 May 1864 in Bloxham, Emma 12 Nov 1865 Bloxham, Eliza and Mark born Brackley 1869, Alice born Bloxham 1872…etc. If anyone could help me to find this “Mary” from Barford, I would be very grateful,

Information wanted - HINTON

Hello, I am interested in finding out about William Hinton and his famiy. He was born in 1805 in Eydon, Northamps and at sometime prior to the early 1830’s had moved to Barford. His occupation in the census was gardener (later upgraded to master gardener) and he seems to have had 3 children. I am descended from Charles, born in 1837 in Barford.

I am looking for information on a John Fowler, who was born in Barford, Oxfordshire in abt 1830. I know he married in Hereford to an Ann Plummer. I know that his father’s name was Robert Fowler who at the time of the wedding was working as a Confectionery Master. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Information wanted - SEELEY

I am trying to find information about THOMAS SEELEY, my 3x great grandfather who lived on Bridge Street, Barford and whom I believe was one of the village’s Blacksmiths. I think that Thomas married an Elizabeth MOORE (born Solihull c. 1807). They had a son ARTHUR who was born in Barford c. 1836. I believe the family may have moved to Warwick some time between 1851 and 1861.
Any info will be most welcome.

Information wanted - MORRICE

My 3 x great grand parents gave birth to four of their five children in Barford, but I have no idea why. Rev’d James MORRICE was Rector of Betshanger (Kent) and Vicar of Flower (Northants). Both had nice houses. He was married to Marie Coltée du Carel (anglicised to DUCAREL). The children born and baptised in Barford were:
Frederick Edward MORRICE b.8/12/1778
Charlotte Elizabeth MORRICE b. 9/7/1780
Andrew Ducarel MORRICE b.21/2/1782
Maria Margaretta MORRICE b. 17/6/1783
The fifth child, Theodosia Frances MORRICE, was born and baptised at Flower (Flore)

I would be interested if anyone can make any suggestions as to who they (she) would have been visiting.
